Windsor Mountain International Wash House
Windsor, NH
This playful wash house with its unusual "butterfly" roof (that does not leak!), is nestled in among a stand of pine trees. It provides toilets for boys and girls in two symmetrical wings (yellow for the boys and red for the girls). Both wings converge on a central, double-hieght space that features a large communal sink. Often regarded as a friendly creature in the woods, few restrooms are so memorable.
